The age of the locavore is already in full swing, but only now is the locally sourced food movement starting to trickle down to your favorite chain restaurants. Fresh food lovers rejoice, restaurants around the country – from Applebees to Red Lobster to the Olive Garden – are getting in on the act of organic food and drink.

Local Focus; Enhanced Flavor

No longer can America’s most popular restaurants afford to ignore the trend of providing fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to customers hungry for quality and taste. Many chains are making an effort to engage with local farmers and fisherman to bring ingredients into the restaurants sourced from less than 100 miles away. Tomatoes, halibut, and even chickens are now being provided, when possible, by supply chain partners much closer to a restaurant’s location.

Expect the Best

With a renewed focus on quality in 2015, Darden restaurants like Red Lobster and independent chains like Outback and Cheesecake factory will delight you with their renewed commitment to culinary excellence.

2015 Trend Continues

This year, we only expect this fast-moving trend to continue picking up speed, as coffee shops, diners, even fast food establishments attempt to capture a piece of the increasingly influential and lucrative “locavore” market. Stay tuned for developments as covered by restaurant menu recipes!

When I first tried the Olive Garden Chicken Parmesan I could have sworn I was on vacation in Sicily eating freshly prepared, authentic Italian food. I could taste all the different flavors in the Olive Garden Chicken Parmesan; the rosemary, garlic, and fresh tomatoes on top of a succulent piece of breaded chicken. I knew then that the Olive Garden Chicken Parmesan would be my new favorite dish, so I decided to do some research about the Olive Garden Chicken Parmesan and where the recipe came from. I was shocked to find that the chefs at Olive Garden had used their own expertise to improve the classic Italian recipe.
You see the original Chicken Parmesan was essentially just breaded chicken and a very basic tomato sauce thrown on top of a pile of pasta… pretty bland right? The Olive Garden Chicken Parmesan is much more complex than the original Italian recipe. Olive garden Chicken Parmesan has parmesan cheese and a collection of fresh herbs thrown into the breading mix. It also has rosemary, garlic, basil, onion, premium red wine, and a dash of lemon pepper added to the basic marinara sauce. The chicken is placed on top of Olive Garden’s original pasta recipe and topped off with fresh mozzarella cheese. “Delizioso!” Olive Garden Chicken Parmesan is not only great tasting but it’s good for you too! Only lean white meat chicken is used for the dish and everything is cooked in the highest quality olive oil, which is shown to have many health benefits. The chicken for Olive Garden Chicken Parmesan is breaded, not fried and the marinara sauce is so rich in taste that there is no need for butter on the pasta! All in all, the Olive Garden Chicken Parmesan is only around 400 calories and you leave the restaurant feeling completely satisfied. The Olive Garden Chicken Parmesan comes with freshly baked garlic breadsticks and your choice of homemade soup or garden-fresh salad. However, I know the Olive Garden Chicken Parmesan priced at $15.50 can be a bit much to shovel out for dinner in these economic times. Which is why I’ve posted the recipe for the Olive Garden Chicken Parmesan online for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. Whether you are entertaining guests or just looking for a good dinner to enjoy with a movie, the Olive Garden Chicken Parmesan is always a great decision. Enjoy!

Olive Garden has a new dish available today and it is the Manicotti Formaggio with Shrimp which is a specific kind of cheese with formaggio which means formed cheese and it comes with shrimp which may be farmed shrimp. The new Olive Garden dish is on the Olive Garden Menu and is listed at only $10.99 at participating Olive Garden locations.

Olive Garden is an Italian restaurant that was formed in 1982 in the midwest and is classified as an American restaurant with Italian twist. Most of it was actually created as an original style of Italian food. American restaurants like the Olive Garden have large menus that change often. In the changing menu at the Olive Garden the Manicotti Formaggio with Shrimp will be there for just a little while, but hopefully it’ll stay longer than normal.
